The beginnings of JV

Finally, the JV blog begins!

After the madness of diving head first into setting up our own business and dealing with all the boring bits that come with it, we can now dedicate some time to the more fun stuff, like a blog!

Going right back to the start (or if you didn’t already know), JV is run by two sisters, Jo and Vic. Jo’s background is in photography and Vic’s background is in digital marketing. During lockdown our Mum (shoutout to Susie!) had a brainwave idea, that we merge our skill sets to become JV Communications. Initially we both thought, could we really do that? Could we actually start our own business? And here we are, 6 months down the line, working with our own clients, running our very own business.

We have been extremely lucky to work with the clients that we have so far, and have thoroughly enjoyed it all. What we love the most is the ability to be creative and to put our own spin on things, really being trusted by our fantastic clients. Although our actual job for each client is relatively similar, it feels so varied as they are all part of different industries, with different ideas and different goals.

We are hoping that these blogs give you a bit of an insight into JV, from goings-on behind the scenes to examples of the work we have been completing. We have just begun a very exciting revamp of our website so we can’t wait to share that with you all soon...
